Burley Auction is proud to have been involved and provided auctioneer services for the sale of the historic ghost town, The Grove, Texas. The story of Moody Anderson, a Texan who had a penchant for collecting rare and valuable antiques. He gathered old signs, boot jacks, furniture, blacksmith tools, and on one occasion, an entire town. The Grove, Texas, was owned by Moody for decades until Moody decided to hang up his hat and put his entire collection on the auction block.
